‘CHIVAS AT THE PARK L.A.’ TO KICK OFF TOMORROW AT EXPO CENTER IN DOWNTOWN
 
Chivas USA and the City of Los Angeles will announce the return of this grassroots soccer program for the fourth consecutive year;
Ten clinics will be held in parks throughout Los Angeles in 2011
 
CARSON, Calif. (Friday, April 1st, 2011) – Chivas USA’s popular grassroots soccer program ‘Chivas at the Park L.A.’ returns this Saturday at Expo Center in downtown Los Angeles, starting a series of 10 soccer clinics to take place in various parks throughout the city. Now in its fourth year, ‘Chivas at the Park L.A.’ will again provide high-level soccer instruction at first-class facilities throughout Southern California.
 
The program begins tomorrow, Saturday, March 26, at the Expo Center next to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. For just a $5 registration fee, clinics offer participating boys and girls ages 5-15, the opportunity to learn soccer techniques and practice drills that highlight teamwork, all of this, in an environment that promotes the importance of fitness for the entire family. All participants in the clinic will receive 90 minutes of soccer instruction, a Chivas at the Park t-shirt, and two tickets to a Chivas USA home game. 
 
This year the program comes with new and exciting changes including the opportunity for participating youth to be named as “Chivas at the Park MVP.” Each MVP will be awarded a one-of-a kind, framed, team-autographed poster.  And members of the popular ChivaGirls squad will also be making special appearances and lead the young ladies, mothers and general public in dance routines that will have the whole family enjoying Chivas at the Park.
