CHIVAS USA MIDFIELDER MICHAEL LAHOUD SUPPORTS THE ¨WALK TO AFRICA¨ REGISTRATION WHILE MEETS AND GREETS FANS
 
CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, June 21, 2011) – Chivas USA midfielder Michael Lahoud will attend and support, through a personal appearance, the Walk to Africa 5K registration event. The Red-and-White playerNBC’s reporter Mario Solis. During the event, Goat’s fans and the general public who register will have the opportunity to meet Michael Lahoud and participate in a raffle and silent auction.
 
The Walk to Africa´s mission is to alleviate the pain and suffering of the African people that lack medical care because of poverty, injustice, and civil conflicts. Through the Walk to Africa´s efforts to organize teams of doctors, nurses, and volunteers for medical relief missions, the organization is able to heal and restore the lives of thousands. The Walk to Africa´s goal is to raise funds and awareness to continue their medical mission trips and develop long term medical facilities and relief for African people.
 
The Walk to Africa event is designed to raise money to provide medical care in Sierra Leone (a province located on the West Coast of Africa).
