Chivas USA’s Teams Remain Undefeated in Tournament;
The Goats U17’s Play New England Revolution Tonight At 6:30 In Semi Final Round Qualifier For The Youth Tournament That Includes All 16 MLS Clubs
CARSON, CA. (Thursday, July 28, 2011) – The 2011 Generation Adidas Cup is taking place since last Monday  July 25 and through Sunday the 31st at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas. It actually consists of two tournaments for youth teams of MLS clubs. The U17 tournament includes teams from 16 MLS clubs, while the U15 tournament includes teams from 8 MLS clubs.
Since tournament play began this past Monday in Dallas, TX, Chivas USA’s youth teams continue their stellar participation and remain undefeated to date. The U17’s will play rival New England Revolution at 6:30 PM tonight in a semi-final qualifier. In the two games played by the U17’s prior to today’s match the Red and White have made their presence felt and attracting attention for their style of play and performance. In the match against the Colorado Rapids, Kevin de la Torre (95) one up’d his Hat-Trick and scored 4 goals as Chivas USA won 4-1. And in the match versus the Toronto FC Mark Delgado (95) scored the lone goal as the Goats won by 1-0.
 
Meanwhile in the U15’s category Chivas USA defeated FC Dallas with a second half goal from Joshua Perez (98) assisted by Alejandro Vergara (97). In yesterday’s match the U15’s won their first game by defeating DC United 2-0 with goals from Edgar Gonzalez (96) and Alejandro Vergara (97). The U15’s lead their group with 2 wins in 2 games.
 
CHIVAS USA HIT THE ROAD AND SQUARE OFF WITH DALLAS THIS SUNDAY: Following the 3-0 crushing of the Houston Dynamo last Saturday night, the Goats go on the road for the first of 5 consecutive matches away from their home. Chivas USA will look to return the defeat it received from FC Dallas last June at The Home Depot Center and make it a clean sweep of Texas in the month of July. The match will kick off this Sunday July 31st at 4:00 p.m. PT live from Pizza Hut Park and will be broadcast on Galavision for TV and W Radio 690 AM for radio.
