2,500 CHILDREN WILL GET FREE BACKPACK AT THE CHIVAS USA VS. PORTLAND TIMBERS MATCH
Chivas USA, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, and Fundación Chivas de Corazón USA partner for backpack giveaway for the upcoming school year
CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, June 17, 2012) – Chivas USA, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission and Fundación Chivas de Corazón USA will be equipping 2,500 children, free of charge, from City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Centers, Youth Policy Institute, Inner City Arts, to name a few, with new backpacks for the upcoming school year. The backpack distribution will take place prior to the Chivas USA vs. Portland Timbers match, Wednesday, July 18 at The Home Depot Center.
This is the first of many events in which Chivas USA organization and Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission will partner in providing services to low income and at-risk youth.
