Chivas USA has parted ways with Head Coach Robin Fraser and Assistant Coach Greg Vanney. In addition, the Red-and-White organization have relieved both team Technical Director and Head Scout Simon Elliott and Head Athletic Trainer Brian Lee, as part of the Goats’ restructuring. In two seasons as Chivas USA’s head coach, Fraser compiled a record of 15-32-21 in MLS competition and failed to reach the playoffs as the Rojiblancos finished the 2012 season in last place in the Western Conference. Vanney, who arrived in 2011 as part of Fraser’s staff, did not have his contract option picked up by the club. Elliott, who played for the Goats in 2011 and recorded two assists in 24 appearances (21 starts) while logging 1,824 minutes, was hired by Chivas USA in March of this year after finishing his nine-year playing career in MLS. Lee was hired and joined Fraser’s staff on April 13, 2011. cdchivasusa.com About
