Jorge Vergara held a press conference Tuesday for the first time since taking full control – along with Angelica Fuentes – of Chivas USA in late August. Vergara´s agenda included meetings with community leaders, politicians, sponsors, fans, supporting groups, the Red-and-White staff, MLS Commissioner Don Garber and members of the media. EYE ON YOUTH ACADEMY

Chivas USA’s U-16 and U-18 squads to face Comunicaciones’ U-16 and U-18 teams, respectively

Chivas USA’s Academy Goats will host Guatemalan club Comunicaciones on Monday, Nov. 19 at Veterans Park in Pomona, Calif. The U-18s and U-16s for both clubs will square off at 7:45 pm (PT) with the U-16s on Field 1 and the U-18s on Field 2.

 

Academy Goats Update

Chivas USA’s young Goats continued their play in the SCDSL fall season this past weekend with all teams in action. The U-18s defeated Arsenal FC, 2-1, and were led by Ben Spencer’s two-goal performance.
