1. He is not the only one. After Khruschev, every communist leader surrounded himself and his family with luxury. That was one of the reasons that prompted Chairman Mao to call USSR revisionist. Brezhnev had a collection of foreign antique cars worth billions, and his wife’s and daughter’s jewelry was legendary.
