UEFA Europa League : Congratulations Cheslea [The AG News Show]

I want to dedicate this article to koolkosherkitchen since it is a blog that deserves attention for its promotion of great cooking with culture.

The sports world is still celebrating the victory of Chelsea in the UEFA Europa League celebrated in Baku, Azerbaijan. This was not an easy feat taking into account that Azerbaijan and Armenia are traditional enemies especially when Arsenal Midfielder Henrik Mkhitaryan is from the latter.

Arsenal’s hope of making a comeback after the departure of its long time manager Arsene Wenger was not forthcoming as Chelsea dominated the match from the beginning. There were missed opportunities for the Gunners to score and this was due to their timid personality which has been prevalent for almost the last decade.

Arsenal appeared fatigued while Chelsea appeared confident of its ability to dominate and score. The Blue Nation [also] received support from its owner Roman Abramovich who demands near perfection from managers and players in his club unless they want another job.

The Blue Nation managed to earn a spot in the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League while Arsenal remains with Europa. Chelsea must prove itself in the next Premier League and UCL [UEFA Champions League] while Arsenal must commit itself to a profound renewal within its next season.

It remains to be seen whether Umai Emery can generate results at Emirate Stadium with the Gunners. If the Blue Nation needs to renew itself, it should look across the Atlantic and sign some of the recent stars from a totally renovated US Soccer team.

We will see what happens in the coming months of 2019.

  1. I am truly honored by your mentioning my humble blog, Senor Roberto. As always, I am amazed of your depth of knowledge and understanding of not only sports minutae, but also historical, cultural, and political issues that exert influence upon the sporting events. Best wishes and many blessings to you and yours!
