The study of how to arrange reproduction within a human population to increase the occurrence of heritable characteristics regarded as desirable. Developed largely by Sir Francis Galton as a method of improving the human race, eugenics was increasingly discredited as unscientific and racially biased during the 20th century, especially after the adoption of its doctrines by the Nazis in order to justify their treatment of Jews, disabled people, and other minority groups.
It is well known that since the founding of Planned Parenthood by Ms. Sanger to this date, blacks and minorities are the majority of women aborted, thus less blacks born. Whether Ms. Sanger was a believer of Eugenics or not is debatable, but the result of her actions resulted in the same fate. Today the number of black children not born because of abortion is more frequent than white (35+%, 13% of population, compared with the same # of white women over 30% of pop.). The point to be made is that regardless of if called eugenics or not, the result is the same that the proponents of minorities stopped from birth wanted. Yesterday in a Senate’s hearing our Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, stated the benefit of abortions to our labor force.
Basically, her statement was intended to mean that less minorities (blacks) would lead to more skilled workers as mothers would be “free to improve their education, etc.” So, what is the difference between eugenics and that defense of abortion? Not that much, fewer births from the less desirable will improve our society. These are her words.
«What we are talking about is whether or not women will have the ability to regulate their reproductive situation in ways that will enable them to plan lives that are fulfilling and satisfying for them,”. One aspect of a satisfying life is being able to feel you have the financial resources to raise a child. Yellen noted that many abortions are performed on teenagers, often Black women from low-income backgrounds who may not be in a position to care for children following unexpected pregnancies. She added there is a spillover effect to the economy because unexpected pregnancies may deprive women of their ability to continue their education and affect their place in the workforce.
«It means the child will grow up in poverty and do worse themselves,» Yellen said.
What does she mean by «unexpected» pregnancies? Is she implying that black women have such thinking deficits that they are unaware that having unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy? How about the many easy steps available in order to not have that risk? Is she implying abortion as a form of contraceptive?
And who decides? Who, except God, has the ability to know what the future of the life stopped would be? The child “would do worse themselves?” What about the many that “grew up in poverty” grew up to be noted scientists, politicians, and in summary assets to society. If you do not want to have a child, there is no need to abort (kill) a child (using Biden’s definition), abort the pregnancy. Yellen’s reasoning’s if acted upon would have stopped the birth of Senator Scott, among many, as he responded, pointing
to his own background.
«As a guy raised by a Black woman inabject poverty,» he said, «I’m thankful to be here as a United States senator.»
As every black and/or minority yet to be born should.
