The retired doctor is still a resident of the Western Highlands, a businessman in Buon Ma Thuot.Trần Mộng Tú, born on 19-12-1943 in Ha Dong (North Vietnam), grew up in Ha Noi and Hai Phong, came to Saigon (South Vietnam) in 1954. Tran Mong Tu settled in Washington, USA from 1975. Also, she started her writing in 1975. Her first collection of poetry ‘Tho Tran Mong Tu (Nguoi Viet, 1990) was followed by ‘Cau truyen cua la phong (The Ky, 1994) and ‘De em lam gio’ (Poetry.
