A new Awekening

In my last article of June 29th, “Zohran Mamdani – New York’s Mayor», I stated that the rising from the tombs of the unknown by this full-fledged communist Zohran Mamdani, could be, paradoxically, looked upon as good news. If you wonder why, well, let us just say that, for the first time since the McCarthyism period in the late 1940’s to the mid 1950’s, the words “communist” and “communism” that had been literally eradicated from the American vernacular and expediently substituted by a whole host of vanilla labels have now come to live once again. Mamdani’s very open admission of his communist ideals have brought about a much needed awareness that communists and communism pose a real and present danger to our constitutional republic and to our capitalist system.

Notably Mamdani’s sudden rise as the coming of a new Messiah, reminds me of the same rise in 2008 of yet another Messianic figure, Barack Hussein Obama, who, like Mamdani, came to the political limelight when in a presidential campaign speech on October 30th, 2008 stated: “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.» In hindsight, Obama’s transformation was, simply said, the beginning of the democrats crusade to transform the United States of America into yet another communist state, if only then, the objective, the policies, the platform were not as obviously made public as made today by Mamdani.

Upon consideration, Mamdani’s communist platform is identical to the policies, ideals, and political epitomes that democrats and the Democratic Party have been trying to sell Americans over the last twenty years. Think about it, Mamdani’s and the democrats’ platform are all centered on social changes, i.e., government subsidized freebies – all to be funded through taxing the wealthy. Karl Marx’s communism focuses on class struggles, on “redistribution of the wealth,” the “bourgeoisie” and “proletariat.” The presumed victory of the “working class,” Marx argued, would eventually overturn the existing order and usher a “classless” society.

At the very heart of communist systems is a planned economy such as Mamdani is professing to implement, with free public buses, universal childcare, freezing rents, and city run grocery stores. Hello! In addition, Mamdani is promoting the expansion of the LGBT agenda, the elimination of cash-bails, the legalization and promotion of drug use and the legalizing of prostitution. In short, Mamdani and democrats over the past twenty years have been proposing to undermine the very fabrics of our society, paving the way for the ultimate transformation into a full-fledged communist state.

I have forever believed as I first stated in my book “The Beginning of the End” that, communism’s greatest allies are illiteracy and ignorance. If most liberals, leftists, and progressives understood communism, they probably would not support it. Vis-à-vis, [the] only way to really understand what this system is all about is either by living through it like we Cuban Americans have, and/or by learning about it – both of which lacking by most Americans.

Regrettably, forty-two million American adults cannot read at all; fifty million are unable to read at a higher level that is expected of a fourth or fifth grader. About 2.25 million adults are added to the functionally illiterate population annually. Twenty percent of high school seniors can be classified as being functionally illiterate at the time they graduate.

I dare say, a greater part of our voting universe is at best uninformed, at worst incapable of comprehending the involved political issues of the times – a scary presumption considering the what is inherently at stake, to wit, the possibility of losing the nation as we almost did under Joe Biden’s presidency. Bottom line, I look upon the Mamdani’s mayoral race as a true revelation for many Americans; to the more literate amongst us, the historical collective denial shown by not using of the words communist and communism may be quickly coming to welcomed end – to where, for once, Americans are finally calling a spade a spade and can talk about the true transformation that Barack Obama first proposed in 2008. God save us and God save the United States of America.
