The Socialist Democrats

Must say, I have great concerns for what is going to happen to this nation in “life after Trump.” Be it as soon as the forthcoming midterm elections, be it in 2028, either way, I am sorry to say, but I must be completely honest with my feelings, I don’t like what’s coming. I see a gloomy future ahead. Mind you, considering I am your eternal optimist, and always see the “glass half full” instead of “half-empty”, for me to feel as negative as I do, comes with some compelling causes which I will now gladly share with you.
First and foremost, for anyone to make an honest evaluation of what is in store for the future, it is imperative to look at the bigger picture, as otherwise we could easily lose scope and perspective, hence falling for that metaphor that says, “can’t see the forest for the trees.”
I will start by taking you all back to the 1960’s when most of us, Cuban Americans, migrated to what was [the] United States of America – an iconic republic, a bastion of democracy, the world’s capital of capitalism, [the] greatest and most powerful nation in the world, and all those other wonderful things that this nation represented. In the political arena back in the day, the thought alone of a political Party, a politician, a member of the press, or anyone in public eye that would dare endorse, promote, sanction, some of today’s popular radical socialist platforms was unheard of. Anyone who ventured to hint signs of being a communist, was, by default, dead on arrival, hence the so-called “Red Scares” – known as periods of extreme anti-communist panic in the United States, i.e., the Second Red Scare a/k/a McCarthyism in the 1950’s.
If you have been keeping track of the news as of late, you must have noticed that today’s so-called socialist democrat’s platform could readily been surmised in one sentence: “destruction and annihilation of the United States and all it stands for.” They want to replace the president, the supreme court, ICE, tax the rich, defund the police, do away with jails, open the borders, confuse gender, among others. Complete and total anarchy. Question remains though; how did we get to where we are? Notably, democrats are no longer sugarcoating who they are and where they are coming from. In fact, I hear every day, every hour on the hour almost, democrats boasting on the growth of socialist democrats’ ranks and file, how their membership continues to expand, and how they continue to win primaries. I venture to say, the day is coming when they will proudly and openly call themselves communists and many Americans will gracefully accept it, even praise it.
So…how did we get to where we are? Well, I dare say, if you really think about it, the answer to this magnanimous question is really a lot simpler and more straightforward than many will care to admit. What led us here was a combination of factors, all of which contributed in one way or another. But I have to say, of all nations in the world, the socio-cultural chronicle and characteristics of the United States over its history, offered by far, the most idyllic conditions for the socialist / communist revolution to take a foothold – the most suitable political environment for the establishment of the Marxist model, bar none were found right here in the United States of America.
Consider this for a moment if you will, Marx’s class struggles were, in the author’s vision, necessary and served as [the] ideal motivation at the heart of his communist revolutions. By the same token, think about it, the U.S.’s history of Black oppression, lent itself as perfect entryway for Marxism in the U.S. The Civil Rights movement of the 1960’s marked the beginnings of a “reverse-racism” revolution which set the stage for the socialists / communists to make their move in the decades that followed. With the help of many guilt-ridden whites and greedy oligarchs the upheaval, the revolution had started and culminated with the election of the first communist president of the United States, Barack Obama, who not just happened to be a Black man by some strange coincidence. Simply put, Barack Obama was and has always been a career communist – the quintessential Manchurian Candidate.
The communist revolution was rather well-planned, well-organized as they sought to take over one of the nation’s leading political Parties, namely the Democrat Party, using the latter as an ideal platform for the massive radicalization that was needed for the revolution to complete its mission in years to come. The only setback to their master plan, Donald J. Trump. The latter [Trump] was the prototypical spoiler, first in 2016 and again in 2020, hence the so-called “derangement syndrome”. Trump represented a temporary delay to the revolution – his movement [Trump’s] the only thing standing in the communist way, thus the obvious need of taking him out, as they have already tried a few times.
Donald Trump’s successes since taking over the presidency this second time around, has been [the] absolute, the out-and-out, the unqualified explanation over the prevalent open socialist insurrection – the prevalent coup of socialist democrats over the old Democrat Party’s establishment. Trump made them think that time was running out, thus a radical change in strategy to try and recoup some of the lost time in both of Trump’s periods as president. On their new open agenda, everything goes, even guys with Nazi tattoos running for the Senate.
Then again, why is it that we see socialism gaining power as they appear to be gaining. Here again, the answer[s] may be ever more transparent than any of us care to understand. For starters, yes, while the U.S. is still [the] greatest nation on the face of the earth, it is no less true that this is a nation of sheep. The flock follows the sheepherders’ orders – no questions asked, even being if they are led to their demise. Add to that, a great sector of the American universe, composed of the failed, the envious, and the less adept – a coalition of resentful pundits unable to fetch success through their own recourses, but keen to rely on Big Government as a Messianic redeemer for mankind; as the ultimate equalizer for mankind’s inequalities and deficiencies. These, dear friends, are the soldiers in the enemy army of radicals.
All of these coupled with an immense illiteracy, and you have a perfect concoction for the communist revolution to succeed – and there is your answer. I guarantee you that many Americans cannot even spell the words communist and communism. These are foreign terms for most of the Useful Idiots in the rank and file of the revolution. In closing, honestly, we, the Republican Party better get our act together. If we lose the midterm elections, I assure you we will lose the country as well. In my humble estimation, I think it is a matter of “when” and not “if” for the communist to complete Obama’s commitment to fundamentally transforming the nation, made in 2008 just before he was elected president.
As far as I am concerned, there will come a time when [the] only way to reverse the communist takeover of this nation will come with a lot of bloodshed. I don’t see the United States being able to undo the prevalent communist takeover other than with another civil war. For many, I know, you may think I am over-the-top on this conclusion – to you all, I say, think again, as getting to where we are also seemed over-the-top when we all first migrated to the United States of America. God save us and God save the Republic.
