Dear Secretary Rubio:

Allow me sir to introduce myself. My name is Oswaldo Usategui; however, all my friends call me Obie, I hope you will too. I am, for lack of a better word, an avid political zealot which paved the way for labeling myself “The Patriot Observer” – a title which I have staunchly tried to honor through my hundreds of articles written over the years, as well as my book named “The Beginning of the End,” which I wrote in 2012 – a study of the Socialist / Communist revolution in the United States lead by Barack H. Obama.

Over the years, I have written countless political blogs throughout various social media venues, including but not limited to Canada Free Press – a conservative Canadia digital publication. Mind you, I am proud to say some of my articles have gone viral. Reason I am writing to you today is, in the comments section one of my recent articles published in Facebook not long ago, a loyal follower wrote she wished “Marco Rubio” would read some of my articles. I do share this wish with my supporter while understanding full well that same will not transcend the realm of “wishful thinking” at best.

That said, however, I decided nonetheless to go ahead and try to reach you even though I realize this letter may never be read by you considering how busy you must be while co-leading the nation with our great president.

My very first thoughts for you are filled with a combination of gratefulness, admiration and, most of all, respect. I am, like your parents, Cuban American. I left Cuba when I was merely 14 years-old and have never returned – not while the communist clique of the Castro brothers controls our island. I am reaching 81 years old today. I was one of the children that came to the U.S. in what was then known as “Operation Peter Pan” – namely, a politicized exodus of over 14,000 unaccompanied Cuban minors ages 6 to 18 during the 1960’s. Children sent by parents who feared Fidel Castro’s Communist agenda to terminate their legal custody and place children in “communist indoctrination centers”.

Mr. Rubio, my letter today has a twofold aim, first, I wanted to thank you on behalf of all honorable Cuban Americans for all you are doing to help us put an end to sixty-seven long years of Communism in our beloved homeland. We are proud of you, proud to share your heritage, proud of who you have become – one of the leading statesmen in an extraordinarily complex geopolitical world that is constantly threaten by forces specifically aimed at the destruction of this great nation. Kudos to you for a job well done. It is truly an honor for all Cuban Americans of what you have accomplished as Secretary of State of the greatest nation on the face of the earth.

In consideration to the unique accessibility that you now have with our great President, Donald J. Trump, moreover on the realization of how close you are to him, how highly he thinks of you, and how much he listens to you, I am hereby politely and respectfully asking you to, if at all possible, share this correspondence with him as I truly think he is [the] greatest thing that has ever happened to this nation in the last 250 years.

Yes, I am a diehard admirer of the man who has almost singlehandedly changed this world for the better. To be clear, at a time in history when Communism and Communists through the Democrat Party constitute a real and present danger to our Republic, to our democracy and to our capitalist system, Donald Trump comes as the Divine Interventor, as God’s willing hand to save this nation from the perilous demise posed by one his history’s most evil sociopolitical ideologies.

Once again, to be clear, the policies and politics of Donald J. Trump, together with all the outstanding work you have done assisting him as our Secretary of State, have been all but instrumental in reversing the fundamental transformation of the United States of America first committed to by President Barack Obama in 2008. Both of your successes, independently and combined, have paved the way for a more stable future of the world.

The Abraham Accords, the detainment of Iran in accessing nuclear capabilities, the complete revamping of our hemisphere by way of the capture and retention of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela and by way of the recent reprisals which you yourself have already started with the Castro regime in our beloved homeland, are all independently and combined a mosaic of hope, a work-in-progress model for the future of our nation and the world.

In our own backyard also, in Central and Latin America we thankfully observe how many Marxists Leftists countries such as, El Salvador, Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay and Peru, among others have all done a turnabout face towards, far-right libertarian ideologies – all of which we may directly and indirectly acknowledge to be a subliminal renaissance of true democracy for our neck of the woods.

In closing, sir, once again, all but my eternal indebtedness to you and to Donald Trump just for who you are and for what you have done for this nation, for this world, and for that Caribbean Island which was once the homeland of great Cubans such as your parents. May God bless you both and may God bless the United States of America.
