According to the Scarborough Athletic Newsletter dated 4^th of December 2007, Scarborough Athletic Football Club will appeal their six point deduction and 300 Sterling Pound Fine in Leeds on the 8^th of January 2008.I wrote to the Seadog Trust of the Scarborough Athletic Football Club to voice my support for them and also to support the struggle to retain the name and crest of the club.

It is important to maintain the name Scarborough Athletic Football Club and Retain the Crest. The team inherited the name and crest and is symbolic of football in Scarborough.
